Senior Transformation Analyst, Finance

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Senior Transformation Analyst in Finance to lead process improvement and finance transformation initiatives, focusing on automation, standardization, and process simplification.

Responsibilities:

1. Drive process improvement and finance transformation initiatives through automation, standardization, and process simplification.
2. Become a trusted partner and advisor with finance, IT, and other cross-functional business teams.
3. Collaborate with functional leaders, process owners, and system users to understand business processes and pain points to deliver effective solutions.
4. Maintain effective communication within the team and with cross-functional partners.
5. Support finance, IT, and other teams with system design and troubleshooting.
6. Lead or support small to medium process improvement projects, including stakeholder coordination, requirements gathering, project planning, status communication, UAT, and change management.
7. Ensure finance projects meet operational, compliance, and reporting goals.
8. Assist with special finance projects as directed by leadership.
9. Prepare and communicate project metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
• CPA (active or inactive) is a plus.
• Experience with Workday financial system and process improvement.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Exposure to finance efficiency tools (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath).
• Understanding of accounting standards and SOX controls.
• Attention to detail and strong data analysis skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and act with urgency.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
