Job summary

GreenXT is seeking a Senior Level Training Specialist to support the operation and maintenance of Navy Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain, naval training credentials, and substantial experience with IBNS/SCS/SPCS software.

You will design and update training materials, conduct on-ship training events, and perform gap analyses to ensure readiness. Travel ~30% and strong MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance or ability to obtain
• Experience with IBNS, SCS, SPCS software or similar naval systems
• Naval Instructor qualification or equivalent
• Master Training Specialist (MTS) qualification or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience in formal Navy training environments is a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team

• Researches and analyzes new or revised technical documentation to develop and update training material
• Conducts course and Training Events with the ship
• Designs, develops, and prepares structured training material related to operation or maintenance of HM&E systems
• Develops training material based on technical manuals, Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and other system information
• Works to implement program use of the training courses and materials developed
• Performs training gap analysis to identify gaps in training for onboard ship classes

Responsibilities

• Researches and analyzes new or revised technical documentation and information to develop and update training material


• Conducts course and Training Events with the ship


• Designs, develops, and prepares structured training material, presentation materials, and courses of study related to the operation or maintenance of systems and subsystems


• Develops training material based on technical manual information, Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and other system information.


• Works to implement program use of the training courses and materials that are developed.


• Performs training gap analysis to identify gaps in the training for the systems onboard various ship classes

Requirements:

• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position


• Helmsman/Lee Helmsman qualified Integrated Bridge & Navigation System (IBNS) Steering, Ship Control System (SCS) & Propulsion Control System (SPCS) software


• 3+ years operational experience with IBNS/SCS/SPCS software or other auxiliary systems


• Naval Instructor qualified or equal qualification/certification


• Master Training Specialist (MTS) qualified or equal qualification/certification (Preferred)


• Experience in various formalized Navy training environments is a plus


• Expertise/Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)


• Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) are required


• Willing to travel (30% on average)
