Senior Training & Development Specialist

Full Time | Arlington, VA | Secret Clearance required

SteelGate LLC is seeking a Senior Training & Development Specialist to develop and deliver onboarding materials, training content, job aids, and user support documentation for a mission focused collaboration platform. This role supports user readiness, training delivery, and instructional content development.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of eight years developing and delivering training for Federal or mission focused environments
• Minimum of eight years of technical writing experience
• Knowledge of DHS Trusted Tester methodology and Section 508/WCAG 2.0 AA compliance requirements.
• Experience delivering virtual and in person training
• Experience producing training metrics reports

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Instructional design and adult learning principles
• Development of multimedia training content
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear instructional materials
• Strong technical writing skills
• Strong facilitation skills for virtual and in person training

Job Types: Full-Time

Salary: $80k-$90k
