Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks a Senior Training and Compliance Instructor - First Aid and Safety to lead OSHA and advanced safety courses in Bowie, MD. The role includes delivering Hazwoper, NFPA 70E, Confined Space, Fall Protection, and Train-the-Trainer programs, while expanding the safety training business at the assigned location.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, 2+ years of instructional experience, and OSHA/HAZWOPER/NFPA credentials.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
• High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a training instructor or in the safety industry.
• Certifications: OSHA 10/30 Outreach Instructor, HAZWOPER Instructor, NFPA 70E CEST, ASP, CSP, QSSP.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training courses and instruction on OSHA and higher-level safety topics.
• Grow the safety training business at assigned location(s) in the First Aid and Safety Division.
• Deliver Hazwoper, NFPA 70E, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Train the Trainer courses and other topics.

Job Description

Cintas is seekinga Senior Training and Compliance Instructor - First Aid and Safety. Responsibilities include facilitating training courses and instruction on OSHA and higher-level safety-related courses, including but not limited to Hazwoper, NFPA70E, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Train the Trainer courses, and other various safety topics. The Senior TCI will be responsible for growing the safety training business at assigned location(s) in the First Aid and Safety Division.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• Valid driver's license - Must be able to travel by automobile throughout area or assigned location(s) for instruction.
• High School Diploma/GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have 2+ years previous experience as training instructor or in the safety industry.
• Have the below certifications:
  • OSHA 10/30 Outreach Instructor
  • HAZWOPER Instructor
  • NFPA 70E CEST Certification
  • ASP Credentials
  • CSP Credentials
  • QSSP Credentials

Preferred

• Experience in training, teaching, or facilitating.
• Business-to-Business, industrial and/or outside sales experience

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of total compensation for this role ranges between $60,000 - $120,000/Year and is a combination of base salary plus earned commissions. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, performance, and other business and organization needs. This disclosed range has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
