Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Olive Branch, MS seeks a Sr. DC Trainer to supervise daily process and equipment training for OBDC staff. You will lead new hire meet‑and‑greets, run start‑up meetings, assign tasks in training, and keep trackers up to date for an efficient, compliant operation.

You will deliver initial and refresher PIT training, monitor progress, and work with operations and safety to prevent incidents. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years' experience operating power industrial trucks.
• Certifications on reach truck, EPJ, order picker, and sit-down forklift.
• 1-year experience training Power industrial trucks.
• Be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must have leadership experience.
• Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of TWI training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead daily training of OBDC employees.
• Conduct new hire meet and greets and start-up meetings.
• Assign daily tasks in training activities and update trackers.
• Maintain training tracking systems daily and partner with safety to prevent incidents.
• Perform new hire, refresher, cross-training, and recertification training for PITs.
• Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to Training Supervisor.
• Debrief team on training progress and plan for next day.

Your Role on Our Team:

The Senior DC Trainer is responsible for supervising the process and equipment training of all OBDC employees daily.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct and lead new hire Meet and Greets
• Conduct daily team start-up meetings and share information accordingly.
• Assign daily tasks in training activities.
• Review and update the new hire tracker spreadsheet daily.
• Ensure training tracking systems are up to date daily
• Partner with the operations and safety team to create solutions that prevent incidents from occurring.
• Perform new hire training, refresher training, cross-training, and recertification training for process and Power Industrial Trucks.
• Monitor new hire progress and training documentation throughout the duration of training.
• Monitor Trainer progress and daily performance and relay feedback to the Training Supervisor.
• Identify opportunities through learner feedback, team feedback, and operational performance metrics, and propose potential solutions
• Conduct end-of-shift team debriefs on training progress, performance, specific accomplishments or callouts, shift highlights, and the plan for the next day.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

• Knowledge of OSHA requirements for PIT Training
• Two years of experience operating various power industrial trucks
• Certifications on reach truck, EPJ, Order picker, and Sit down forklift. (Internal Candidates)
• 1-year experience training Power industrial truck
• High school or GED diploma required.
• Be proficient in operating all PIT equipment in DC.
• Must have leadership experience.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have knowledge of Word, excel, and Outlook.
• Must have knowledge of TWI training.
• Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, education, or another related field or equivalent experience in related fields.
• Experience in adult learning within an industrial work environment
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements for power industrial truck training
