Job summary

BWISE Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform final, in-depth inspections of completed trailers and identify defects missed during manufacturing, ensuring all issues are corrected prior to shipping.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read specifications, and familiarity with basic trailer systems. Strong adherence to BWise safety standards is essential in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively observe and promote BWise safety standards.
• Visually review quality of powder coat finish on trailers and identify defects.
• Clean surfaces and touch-up defects with matching aerosol paint.
• Check welds on trailer frames, hangers and pivots.
• Verify fasteners are installed and tightened with a torque wrench.
• Match Sales Order paperwork to trailer appearance for spec compliance.
• Test basic trailer functions such as hydraulics and lighting.
• Install warning labels, reflective tape, and logos decals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
