Role Overview:
This role is a senior traffic engineer in the Traffic Mobility Office at the Indiana Department of Transportation. The Traffic Mobility Office is responsible for evaluating the State and Interstate Roadway Network related to operational, capacity, mobility, connectivity, and accessibility needs with a primary focus on the Interstate System and higher-volume arterial routes. The office is also responsible for asset management, technical analysis, review, and coordination of major and complex projects across the state, and other tasks, involving a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external. The senior engineer role is expected to serve as a subject matter expert in a variety of settings, often involving highly complex and time sensitive or confidential matters.

This position traditionally starts at an annual salary of $85,020.00. Salary for this position may be commensurate with education and job experience.
