Job summary

Bartlett & West, a leading engineering firm, seeks an experienced civil engineer focused on transportation and traffic projects in Wisconsin. You will act as a technical specialist, develop plans, and oversee design efforts across roadway, drainage, and traffic signal work.

Responsibilities include traffic studies, reports, client coordination, and leading project teams. A PE license and 8+ years’ transportation experience are preferred. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related engineering field required.
• 8+ years engineering experience in transportation and P.E. licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical specialist in transportation projects.
• Develops plans and specifications for state and municipal transportation projects.
• Will focus on roadway, drainage, and traffic signal design work.
• Performs traffic analysis/traffic studies as needed.
• Writes technical reports and conducts conceptual design studies.
• Provides internal technical advice to project managers throughout the company for preparing proposals and developing client presentations.
• Directs, manages and participates in the production of the project deliverables, up to and including signing and sealing of work products as a Registered Professional Engineer.
