GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer at its corporate headquarters in downtown Milwaukee, WI. This role leads traffic engineering projects, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and mentors junior staff while building client relationships.

The candidate will manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables, supporting proposals and business development in a well-established practice.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in transportation or traffic engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant traffic engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer registration in Wisconsin (P.E.)
• PTOE and/or RSP certification is a plus.
• Experience guiding staff and developing into a project manager role.
• Ability to manage multiple complex assignments and set priorities.
• Experience with traffic guidelines and data modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee traffic impact studies and planning studies.
• Manage traffic engineering projects including scope, budget, scheduling, and delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development efforts.
• Support proposal preparation and client development.
