Job summary

GRAEF Transportation Engineer position in Milwaukee seeks an experienced professional to lead transportation projects, oversee design teams, and manage client relations on high-profile initiatives.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of transportation design experience, knowledge of WisDOT standards, and a WI PE license. AutoCAD and Civil3D experience is a plus; hybrid work options and strong growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design. Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards is highly preferred.
• PE license in WI.
• Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
• The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
• Project engineering and management.
• Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
