Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Senior Traffic Design Engineer, P.E. in Cottonwood Heights, UT, who will lead and manage transportation project designs. This position requires strong leadership skills and a focus on Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and signing/pavement marking.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, a Professional Engineering license, and have at least 10 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational skills and a client-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering analysis and design.
• Strong background in MOT and/or signing and pavement marking design.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of MOT plans for large transportation projects.
• Perform analysis, design, and plan preparation for traffic control.
• Prepare studies, technical reports, and construction plans.
