Minimum Qualifications :
R equires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and four years of experience as described above or formal education may substitute for work experience and a valid Florida Class A Commercial Driver License with Tanker N endorsement or the ability to obtain within one year from date of hire.
The District may pay for the Entry-Level Driver Training program and may reimburse for other fees associated with obtaining the CDL license through a provider of the District’s choice. After the initial Entry-Level Driver Training program paid by the District , if a CDL is not obtained, employee will be responsible for the cost of subsequent training.
SJRWMD has determined this to be a mandatory-testing position as described in Section 440.102, Florida Statutes and the Commercial Motor Vehicle Drug Testing Program as described in 49 CFR Part 382. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully passing a drug screening paid by SJRWMD. Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
Endure harsh outdoor environments in uncomfortable/extreme temperatures, inclement weather, and remote locations; set-up, lift and/or move equipment; lift and carry heavy objects, bend, kneel and couch, reach overhead, grasp, pushing and pulling, maintain a priority of safety, make effective, consistent, and defensible decisions.

Starting Salary Range: $42,889.60 - $46,580.80
Starting salary is based on qualifications and experience.
