Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 8 years of relevant work experience, or 12 years of experience in lieu of the degree.
• Knowledge of the gas or electricity markets and the associated infrastructure supporting those trading marketplaces.
• Demonstrated decision making capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Analytical rigor and ability to summarize analysis into actionable conclusions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute physically and financially settled transactions within portfolio strategy.
• Readily share market views and analyses internally to support transactional activity.
• Coordinate timing, pricing and scheduling with traders, analysts and schedulers.
• Review contracts to fully understand obligations and opportunities.
• Maintain external relationships with key suppliers, service providers and trade groups.
• Maintain internal relationships with wholesale trading, retail energy, and portfolio management.
• Attend training and all-hands meetings in person; travel as necessary.
