Fanatics Betting & Gaming is building its Fanatics Markets trading desk and seeks a Senior Trader with hands-on market making experience to scale liquidity across sports and event-driven contracts. You’ll design real-time fair-value models and partner with quants, product and engineering to productionize pricing.

You’ll monitor risk, manage a live book under time pressure, oversee P&L, and mentor junior traders as the desk expands into new markets.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical/quantitative field.
• 5+ years in market making or derivatives trading.
• Experience with prediction or financial markets and liquidity dynamics.
• Ability to manage a live book under time pressure.
• Strong cross-functional communication with product, quant, and engineering.
• Familiarity with regulated markets and exchanges.

Aufgaben

• Make markets and manage risk across sports and financial prediction contracts.
• Design and develop models to generate real-time fair values for event-driven outcomes.
• Partner with quants, product and engineering to productionize models for live trading.
• Monitor, validate, and iterate on production models, improving predictive accuracy and trading outcomes while ensuring robustness and operational stability of pricing models.
• Identify and execute market-take opportunities arising from model insights and prediction-market dynamics.
• Design & implement trading strategies to maximize volume and revenue while scaling automated decision-making.
• Manage forecasting along with P&L reporting.
• Monitor exposure limits and elevate risk issues.
• Partner with product, quant, engineering, and compliance teams to launch new markets and contract types.
• Help mentor junior traders and shape trading desk processes as the team grows.
