Job summary

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP seeks a Trademark Paralegal to support the Trademark Portfolio Services in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. The role covers trademark and copyright portfolio management, due diligence, and related filings, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule across multiple U.S.

locations. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least six years of trademark prosecution/maintenance experience in a law firm; a paralegal certificate is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 6+ years of trademark prosecution/maintenance experience in a law firm.
• Paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Advanced legal research abilities and strong instruction-following skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare applications for trademark and service mark registration.
• Prepare ancillary prosecution and maintenance filings.
• Prepare TTAB filings and record title updates.
• Assist with trademark and copyright due diligence.
• Conduct online preliminary trademark clearance searches and prepare guides.
• Prepare applications for copyright registrations.
• Draft client and local counsel correspondence on prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement.
• Track deadlines and keep clients updated.
