Qualifikationen

• Active U.S. Customs Broker License.
• Significant professional experience in customs and international trade compliance.
• Deep knowledge of CBP's ACE system and customs entry data.
• Strong knowledge of tariff classification, customs valuation, FTAs, and related programs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to present to clients.
• Experience managing projects independently and meeting deadlines.
• Strong client-service orientation and professional judgment.

Aufgaben

• Advise and assist clients on U.S. customs and international trade compliance matters.
• Conduct tariff classification analyses using the Harmonized System.
• Analyze customs valuation issues and related-party transactions.
• Evaluate eligibility for free trade agreements and other preferential programs.
• Work with CBP's ACE system, analyze entry data, and prepare rulings/protests.
• Assist with compliance reviews, internal audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Analyze high-volume customs data using Excel and MS Office.
• Support attorneys in proceedings and develop factual records.
• Communicate with clients regarding compliance questions and initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and trainings on customs topics.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals across the firm and with government.
