GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY is seeking a Lead Global Trade Compliance Specialist to lead export and import operations, risk management, and policy developments as a SME on customs, export controls, sanctions, and supply chain. This role partners across functions to support compliant global business operations.

The preferred locations are Malta, NY or Austin, TX or Essex, VT with hybrid or fully remote options. Strong English communication and regulatory expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, international business, logistics, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Advanced working knowledge of U.S. import regulations, customs operations, internal controls, and recordkeeping.
• Ability to lead projects, coordinate cross-functional work, influence without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own day-to-day import compliance execution and guide business teams, brokers, and suppliers.
• Audit broker entries for tariff classification, origin, and duty treatment; drive corrective action.
• Develop and improve import compliance procedures across sites.
• Lead or support Foreign-Trade Zone activities and regulatory coordination.
