Job summary

Subaru of America, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to oversee import compliance with CBP regulations and related government agency requirements. You will guide cross-functional teams in Finance, Legal, Tax, and Sales to ensure accurate classification, valuation, and duty payments.

The role directs duty optimization programs, internal audits, and cross-functional alignment to maintain a low-risk importer profile and strong C-TPAT status. Hybrid work arrangement with Camden, NJ location.

Qualifications

• Current on latest customs compliance laws and initiatives.
• Understanding of C-TPAT program requirements.
• Knowledge of customs brokerage operations and entry filing.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs administration of customs and import compliance to meet CBP regs.
• Develops procedures and implements changes to meet business needs and regulatory updates.
• Drives duty optimization programs including FSFE, duty drawback, FTZ, and related programs.
• Defines KPI framework for customs operations and manages broker/software strategy.
• Designs internal audit roadmap and maintains audit documentation and disclosures.
