Job summary

Shield AI in the United States seeks a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead USV autonomy integration and future UUV programs. You will align product, engineering, and operations to deliver on mission impact, cost targets, and schedule milestones.

You will coordinate international teams, drive readiness reviews, and manage risks across complex, first‑of‑a‑kind programs while enabling fast decisions and strong program execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 9 years with a Master’s; or 7 years with a PhD.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional engineering programs from concept through production.
• Strong understanding of software-enabled systems, autonomy, aerospace, or complex integrated products.
• Experience managing program execution across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and performance.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead USV autonomy integration programs and future UUV programs.
• Define objectives with product, engineering, and leadership to tie to mission impact and financial outcomes.
• Own integrated program plans including scope, schedule, milestones, budgets, and resources.
• Drive fast, rigorous decision-making across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate system integration across labs, testing, and sea trials.
• Track program financials, resources, schedules, and deliverables.
• Support growth activities including proposals and technical evaluations.
• Remove obstacles and empower teams to execute with urgency.
