Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary network infrastructure projects that span data centers, regional backbones, and carrier-level connections.

You'll partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to scope requirements, manage schedules, assess risks, and communicate tradeoffs to executives while delivering scalable, reliable networks across multiple locations in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in technical program management.
• Experience in network reliability or health management for hyperscale optical networks.
• Experience planning and executing network migrations or infrastructure expansions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal business and cross-functional networking teams to identify and define initiatives for network infrastructure needs.
• Translate demand forecasts into regional capacity plans, considering market trends and tech changes.
• Present network plans and roadmaps for approval by internal stakeholders from short-term to long-term strategies.
• Coordinate with network negotiators and vendor delivery managers to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
