Job summary

Google Cloud in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Technical Program Manager III for Software Infrastructure to lead high-impact, cross‑functional programs enabling secure deployment and automated release platforms.

You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and SREs to define roadmaps, manage dependencies, and drive adoption of centralized release capabilities across Google’s infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience evaluating, integrating, or leveraging AI technologies, tools, or automated processes for engineering execution and program velocity.
• Experience in software development or infrastructure engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define, drive, and execute end-to-end technical programs, roadmaps, and delivery milestones for Google's safe deployment and release infrastructure.
• Partner closely with software engineering leads, product managers, Site Reliability Engineers, and customer teams to align technical roadmaps and manage critical dependencies.
• Establish clear program structures, milestone tracking, risk identification and mitigation strategies, and delivery cadences in complex, distributed environments.
• Design and monitor key adoption funnels, reliability indicators, and operational velocity metrics to track program health, measure business impact, and guide architectural priorities.
• Deliver concise, credible communications and executive-ready status updates for executive leadership, engineering partners, and user communities.
