Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead planning and launch of R&D sites supporting autonomous delivery vehicle development. You will oversee site readiness from facility selection through buildout, launch and transition to operations.

You will translate engineering and operational needs into site requirements and coordinate infrastructure, systems, and tools for vehicle testing and fleet operations, working with engineering, operations, real estate, IT,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Site Planning and Requirements: Translate engineering, vehicle, and operational needs into facility requirements and support site evaluation, selection, and design.
• Technical Infrastructure: Lead the delivery of networking, charging, data, security, and vehicle-support infrastructure for R&D fleet operations.
• Site Launch: Own the integrated launch plan, manage dependencies and risks, drive readiness through site commissioning and launch.
• Operations Integration: Coordinate tools, processes, training, and support models for on-site teams to manage vehicles and R&D operations.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Align engineering, operations, real estate, IT, safety, security, contractors and partners on scope, schedule and issues.
• Launch Standards: Develop repeatable site requirements, readiness criteria, and launch mechanisms to speed future site launches.
