Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies is seeking an experienced TPA Oversight Specialist to oversee third‑party administrators handling commercial auto, trucking, bodily injury, property damage, and PIP claims. This role sits as a liaison between internal stakeholders and TPAs, ensuring claims are handled properly, regulatory requirements are met, and outcomes align with company expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial auto claims adjusting experience.
• Strong background handling bodily injury and litigated claims.
• Experience managing complex commercial auto and trucking losses.
• Ability to review policy language and determine coverage applicability.
• Experience attending mediations, depositions and trials.
• Knowledge of state-specific claim handling requirements and regulations.
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
• Licensing requirements; willingness to obtain/maintain state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee TPAs handling commercial auto, trucking, BI, PD and PIP claims.
• Monitor claim activity, review files, identify exposure and escalation risks.
• Provide technical direction to TPAs on claim handling and litigation strategy.
• Maintain daily communication with TPAs on developments and workflow.
• Review coverage issues and policy language to support claim decisions.
