A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Senior Toxic Tort Associate Attorney with 5+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience. The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctor degree from a top law school and be licensed to practice law in California. This role involves:

  1. Taking and defending expert and witness depositions
  2. Drafting litigation documents
  3. Developing client relationships
  4. Preparing for trial

Responsibilities include:

  1. Taking and defending expert and witness depositions
  2. Drafting motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters
  3. Drafting discovery requests and responses
  4. Developing client relationships through oral and written communication
  5. Preparing for trial, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists

Minimum requirements:

  1. Juris Doctor degree from a top law school
  2. Licensed to practice law in California
  3. 5+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience
  4. Experience in a billable work environment
  5. Self-motivated, high-energy individual willing to meet deadlines
