Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking electrical engineers for the Watch Touch team to design and launch next-generation touch sensing technologies. You will work on analog and mixed-signal designs, capacitive front-ends, and sensor integration, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product design and manufacturability.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of industry experience, with possible MS/PhD preferred. On-site in Cupertino, travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background in analog and mixed-signal system-level circuit design, sensor design, modeling, or analog circuit simulations experiences.
• Hands-on board-level circuit design and lab equipment experience (microscopes, detectors, light sources).
• Scripting experience for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the touch sensing system.
• System-level prototyping, integration, characterization and end-to-end validation.
• Schematic design of boards and flexible assemblies.
• Conduct failure mode analysis and root-cause diagnosis; support cross-functional communication to enhance design and manufacturability.
• Business travel up to 10% as required.
