Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of tooling processes and CAD.
• Experience in a foundry or related environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage tooling engineering and layout in a foundry setting.
• Set expectations for tooling quotes and builds.
• Work with customers to meet dimensional requirements.
• Coordinate with production personnel to meet plant needs.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of VMM tooling and molding processes

Experience with CAD

Understanding of pattern shop and layout engineering

Knowledge of Magmasoft

Education

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

Over three years related experience or training
