Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on Engineer to plan, enable, and oversee the build, integration, and commissioning of large tooling and factory automation systems. You will partner with design engineers, fabricators, and production teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective tooling solutions for rocket hardware.

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding of tooling design and integration methods.
• Experience with CNC machining, welding, sheet-metal bending, and tool building.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and drafting standards (ASME Y14.5).

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and drive execution of large tooling installation and commissioning.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Fabrication teams to support fabrication.
• Coordinate tooling integration with Production Operations, Supply Chain, and Facilities.
• Provide technical support across fabrication, integration, and commissioning processes.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Address design challenges on fixtures and machinery.
• Work with engineers to achieve safety, cost, quality and delivery goals.
• Foster clear communication and teamwork to meet schedules and budgets.
