Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Tool & Die Maker III to lead design, fabrication, maintenance, and continuous improvement of complex tooling and die systems. This role requires mastery of precision machining, CAD/CAM, and troubleshooting. You will mentor junior team members and collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive tooling innovation.

The position offers opportunities to lead cross-functional projects and contribute to operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in tool and die making or metal stamping die maintenance.
• Basic blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools (CNC and manual mills, lathes, drills, grinders) to machine parts to specs.
• Lead complex die builds and tooling assemblies with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot and repair tooling issues, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Mentor junior machinists and tool & die makers on best practices and safety.
