Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Tool & Die Maker III to lead design, fabrication, maintenance, and continuous improvement of complex tooling and die systems. The role requires mastery in precision machining, CAD/CAM, and troubleshooting, with mentoring responsibilities for junior team members.

The candidate will collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive tooling innovation and support operational excellence across facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring junior machinists or trainees.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Prior experience with metal stamping tooling or dies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, drills, and grinders to fabricate parts per specs.
• Plan machining layouts and sequences for new progressive tooling.
• Lead tooling builds and coordinate schedules to meet deadlines.
• Troubleshoot die issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Mentor junior machinists and support cross-functional teams.
