Qualifications

• Must have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Connecticut Bar admission in good standing.
• 5+ years of substantive title insurance underwriting or comparable CRE experience in a law firm setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide title insurance underwriting support, counsel, and authorization to personnel, agents, and customers for real estate title commitments and policies.
• Underwrite using title underwriting standards within delegated authority.
• Provide guidance on real estate settlement services and processes.
• Issue underwriting standards and guidelines per company processes.
• Prepare and present educational content for personnel, agents and customers.
