Valmer Land Title Agency in Grove City, OH is seeking a Senior Escrow Officer to independently manage residential, commercial, and land development transactions from intake through closing and disbursement, delivering an accurate and outstanding experience for every client.

This on-site role requires 4+ years in title insurance or escrow, strong knowledge of title commitments and closing figures, and an active notary commission (reimbursed if needed).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate final closing details, post-closing follow-up, and timely shipping of packages.
• Manage multiple transactions with 30–45 day timelines; adapt to urgent closings.
• Answer calls and provide responsive customer service across Grove City and Circleville offices.

We are seeking a Senior Escrow Officer for our Grove City office — someone who knows the title process inside and out, not just how to follow a software workflow. In this role, you will independently manage residential, commercial, and land development transactions from order intake through closing and final disbursement, while delivering an accurate, responsive, and outstanding closing experience for every client.

This is a fully on-site role (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) that requires professional business-casual attire — please note that jeans are not part of the dress code. Punctuality is a core expectation here; Valmer's leadership takes pride in a team that shows up ready and on time, every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Own title and escrow files from order intake through closing and disbursement, keeping each transaction accurate, organized, and on schedule.
• Enter and open orders; request title searches, surveys, and other required transaction documents.
• Review title commitments, identify requirements, coordinate title clearance, and independently resolve issues beyond software prompts or task lists.
• Partner with buyers, sellers, lenders, Realtors, attorneys, and other stakeholders to collect information, communicate updates, and move transactions forward.
• Prepare and review settlement statements, closing disclosures, closing figures, escrow documents, and complete closing packages.
• Coordinate final closing details, complete post-closing follow-up, disburse files, and manage the timely shipping of closed packages.
• Manage multiple transactions with typical 30- to 45-day timelines while pivoting quickly when urgent or last-minute closings arise.
• Answer incoming calls, provide responsive customer service, and support teammates across the Grove City and Circleville offices during high-volume periods.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on title insurance, escrow, or title processing experience required. Real estate experience alone does not satisfy this requirement.
• Ability to independently manage transactions from order intake through closing and disbursement.
• Knowledge of title commitments, title clearance, closing figures, settlement documents, and the full transaction lifecycle.
• Active notary commission or willingness to obtain one; certification costs will be reimbursed.
• Ability to work fully on-site; this search is hiring for both the Grove City and Circleville locations. Please indicate your preferred location when applying.
