Job summary

The Chemours Company in Newark, DE is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to support the Titanium Technologies Ore Technology team. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years in a chemistry lab, proficiency in data capture, and the ability to lift 45 lbs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years relevant laboratory experience handling chemicals.
Experience with safe handling of chemicals in a lab setting is required.
Proficiency with computers and MS Office for data capture and documentation.
Self-motivated with ownership of tasks; able to work independently and in teams.
Ability to lift 45 lbs and move containers using proper ergonomics.

Responsibilities

Safely perform laboratory work including pumping, weighing, mixing, and heating hazardous chemicals.
Assemble and operate lab-scale process equipment for experiments with solids, liquids, and slurries.
Prepare samples and coordinate testing submissions to internal/external labs.
Collect and maintain accurate data records for project communication.
