UCT is seeking a talented TIG Welder III to join our Austin, TX manufacturing team. The Welder III performs advanced welding with minimal supervision, interprets blueprints, and ensures AWS code compliance to support production goals. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a two-year welding program, and 3+ years of welding experience with steel, aluminum and stainless steel. The role requires strict safety adherence and precise measurement using calipers and gauges.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and interpret complex welding drawings.
• Strong understanding of TIG/MIG welding procedures and processes.
• Able to fabricate equipment by cutting, burning and welding various metals.
• Experience reading AWS welding symbols and applying them to welds.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced welding activities with minimal instructions and supervision.
• Set up welding equipment per process specs (WPS) and manufacturer requirements.
• Interpret complex blueprints and manufacturing drawings and ensure quality requirements.
• Maintain and calibrate welding tools and equipment; observe safety procedures.
• Attend to assigned tools and equipment and support production goals.
