Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Senior Threat Hunt Analyst with advanced Digital Forensics to support SBA in Washington, DC. You will design proactive threat hunting programs, perform advanced forensics investigations, and collaborate with the SBA and SOC teams to strengthen cyber defenses across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Digital Forensics, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity operations; 4+ years in threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis at senior/lead level.
• Experience conducting advanced digital forensics investigations in federal or large enterprise environments.
• Certifications such as GCFA, GCFE, GREM, GCIH, GCED, EnCE, CFCE, OSCP, CISSP.
• GNFA or GCFR certification required/desired.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead proactive threat hunting programs across SBA's enterprise IT environment (on‑prem, cloud, hybrid).
• Apply MITRE ATT&CK to develop and execute hypothesis-driven hunts targeting high-priority adversary behaviors.
• Conduct advanced digital forensics investigations following incidents and hunt findings; preserve and analyze digital evidence.
• Develop malware analysis capabilities (static/dynamic) to characterize IOCs and adversary behaviors.
• Develop threat hunting playbooks, forensic procedures, and SIEM detections; produce detailed after-action reports.
