Job summary

ADP is seeking a Senior Lead Threat Detection Engineer to join our security team in a dynamic hybrid environment in New Jersey. You will design and implement detection capabilities, mentor engineers, and drive threat detection initiatives across multiple security domains.

You’ll collaborate with incident response, threat hunting, and IT teams to improve detection quality, reduce false positives, and evolve our cyber defense program. Strong SIEM/SOAR experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• 5-7+ years of security experience including threat detection, hunt, incident response and SOAR development.
• Strong knowledge and practical use of SIEM and SOAR.
• Experience with incident detection, response, analysis and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive new detection workflows and alerting for our SOAR platform based on stakeholder requests.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to detection engineers as individuals contributing to team objectives.
• Lead detection projects and establish technical relationships with detection vendors.
