Job summary

Relativity is seeking an Advanced Cyber Security Engineer to protect our network and infrastructure. You will investigate threats, provide remediation guidance, and work with specialists to mitigate evolving risks using advanced toolsets.

Role requires U.S. citizenship for government product work and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Hybrid work model. The salary range is $104,000–$156,000 with base compensation, bonus, and incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of incident response or security operations center experience.
• Strong cyber incident response skills including network forensics, memory forensics, and/or packet analysis.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, network services, cryptography and web app attacks.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams to mature security posture.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and triage alerts and logs from sensors and threat intel.
• Assess impact of security events and deliver actionable escalations.
• Act as initial escalation point for cyber security events and drive investigations to completion.
• Perform near real-time analysis of logs and alerts across devices to classify security incidents.
• Detect and isolate advanced threats by probing telemetry and threat indicators.
• Contribute to incident handling policies aligning with global standards.
• Research emerging threats and apply countermeasures in a dynamic environment.
• Serve as SME on malicious activity analysis and mechanisms.
• Tune alerts and support junior team members in detection engineering.
• Maintain security infrastructure and ensure tooling is updated.
