Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior MDR advisor to lead end-to-end service delivery for enterprise customers. This hybrid role blends advisory consulting with hands-on security operations to strengthen endpoint protection, threat detection, incident response, and recovery posture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end MDR service delivery for an assigned portfolio of customers, coordinating closely with customer success, sales, and technical account management counterparts.
• Lead initial onboarding by defining scope, SIPs, policy configurations, escalation paths, and documenting the environment for the global MDR team.
• Run ongoing engagement cycles by reviewing metrics, briefing customers on threats and actions, resolving issues, and recommending corrective measures to reduce risk.
• Support prospective-customer proof-of-concept engagements and represent the MDR service at external events.

Role overview

This senior role sits within a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service, acting as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers across the full lifecycle from onboarding through steady-state operations. The position blends customer-facing consulting with deep security operations expertise, helping organizations strengthen endpoint protection, threat detection, incident response, and recovery posture. It is a hybrid advisory and operational role with a strong emphasis on translating threat knowledge into clear guidance for customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end MDR service delivery for an assigned portfolio of customers, coordinating closely with customer success, sales, and technical account management counterparts.
• Lead initial onboarding by introducing service scope and standard operating procedures, advising on endpoint policy configuration and third-party integrations, defining escalation paths, and documenting the environment for the wider global MDR team.
• Run ongoing engagement cycles by reviewing operational metrics and trends, briefing customers on emerging threats and recommended actions, resolving open issues, and recommending corrective measures to reduce risk.
• Support prospective-customer proof-of-concept engagements and represent the MDR service at external events and conferences.
• Stay connected to frontline operations through shadow rotations with analysts, investigators, and engineers, and feed customer and prospect insight back into continuous service improvement.

Requirements

• Hands-on practitioner experience in SOC operations, security monitoring, incident investigation or response, malware analysis, threat hunting, or threat intelligence.
• A solid grasp of the current threat landscape, including common adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and notable threat actor groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief both technical and executive audiences.
• Demonstrated success managing complex customer escalations and working across internal teams to drive issues to resolution.
