Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, guidance and industry standards for third-party relationships in financial services.
• Ability to build strong relationships across the organization and communicate effectively.
• Strong leadership to influence and guide teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid project management skills coordinating multiple tasks continuously.
• Knowledge of SOC and SSAE 18 reports, user controls, data security and DR/insurance terms.
• Ability to develop training materials and train staff in TPRM processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and lead day-to-day operations of the TPRM Program under ERM leadership.
• Serve as SME to internal/external stakeholders on third-party risk matters.
• Foster strong relationships across business lines for collaboration.
• Develop and mature TPRM policy, procedures, templates, and governance.
• Communicate with executives and vendors to maintain a mature TPRM program.
• Review third-party relationships and advise on risk across the Credit Union.
• Provide risk mitigation strategies and management guidance for TPRM.
• Ensure development of risk assessments aligning with ERM framework.
• Coordinate contract reviews with legal and internal owners.
• Review provider viability and recommend alternatives.
• Prepare periodic reports on TPRM health and risk.
• Leverage data-driven insights to monitor key risk indicators.
