Anthropic is seeking a Senior Third Party Risk Manager to own the Mission Critical and Highest‑Risk vendor portfolios, drive risk treatment, and coordinate across security, privacy, and compliance domains. You will shape intake, assessment, and remediation workflows in a fast‑growing AI safety environment.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration with Procurement, Business Continuity, and domain teams to ensure risk is identified and mitigated efficiently while maintaining program momentum.

Qualifications

• Experience running third party or vendor risk assessments end to end at a technology company.
• Knowledge of inherent vs residual risk and control effectiveness.
• Ability to assess security, privacy, compliance, and operational risk across vendors.
• Track record of driving risk treatment to closure through cross-team influence.
• Experience building or tuning an LLM-backed workflow in risk/compliance contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own the Mission Critical and Highest-Risk vendor portfolios and drive risk treatment.
• Support vendor incident response and post-incident risk actions.
• Run inherent risk assessments through intake workflow and evaluate vendor controls.
• Operate the TPRM issue management workflow with clear ownership and timelines.
• Contribute to KPI/KRI reporting on portfolio coverage and cycle time.
