Qualifications

• Work experience on a Hopper dredger (TSHD) or Cutter dredger (CSD).
• Maritime education in Engineering.
• Certificate of Competency Officer in charge of an Engineer watch (III/1) or Second Engineer (III/2).

Responsibilities

• In charge of an Engineering watch on board of a TSHD, CSD or split barge.
• Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all technical installations on board.
• Operate the main and auxiliary machinery and the associated control system.

Skills

Work experience on a Hopper dredger (TSHD) or Cutter dredger (CSD)

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment

Education

Maritime education in Engineering

Certificate of Competency Officer in charge of an Engineer watch (III/1) or Second Engineer (III/2)
