Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Principal Engineer – Thermoforming to lead our most complex projects across multiple locations. You’ll bring deep thermoforming expertise and a strong voice in how we improve, innovate, and grow the business.

You’ll own major engineering programs, define scopes, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver safe, on‑spec equipment and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 15+ years of experience in Thermoforming and Materials engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to domestic plants.

Responsibilities

• Champion safe practices across projects and teams.
• Define, plan, and deliver major engineering projects.
• Partner with customers and teams to understand needs and define solutions.
• Build out full project scopes including designs, calculations, layouts and docs.
• Lead project teams, run meetings, and keep work moving forward.
• Manage budgets, schedules and execution; keep stakeholders informed.
• Lead continuous improvement and kaizen initiatives.
