Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Greer, SC is seeking a Senior Advanced R&D Thermal Spray Engineer/Scientist to drive research and development and supplier support for advanced aerospace technologies. You will apply engineering principles to develop new products and enhance existing ones, reporting to the Senior R&D Engineering Manager and working on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (sciences/engineering/maths).
• 5+ years experience in thermal spray or hands-on related work.
• Experience in aerospace or related industries with ability to innovate.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, systems and engineering principles.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and scientific software to interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D or thermal spray activities to design and test aerospace components and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate discoveries into engineering solutions.
• Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports to support product development.
