Job summary

Argotec seeks a Principal Mechanical Engineer (Thermal) in Melbourne, FL to lead thermal design, analysis and test of satellites within a global Systems Design team. You will apply Thermal Desktop and CAD tools to develop robust thermal solutions for launch and orbital environments.

You will work with diverse disciplines, guide end-to-end testing, size heaters, select materials, and contribute to trade studies.

Qualifications

• BS in Science, Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 14+ years of engineering experience; relevant work may substitute education.
• Excellent written and oral communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop thermal design solutions and verify via testing.
• Perform thermal analysis using industry tools for launch/orbital environments.
• Lead end-to-end thermal testing and subsystem checks.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and CAD specialists.
• Size heaters and select materials/coatings; support trade studies.
