Gravitics seeks a seasoned thermal engineer to own the thermal design and integration for orbital structures, guiding architecture from concept through on-orbit operations. You will mentor junior engineers, define requirements, and drive development roadmaps while collaborating with in-house and external teams.

Qualificações

• 9+ years in thermal design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in space industry thermal systems from concept to deployment.
• Proficient in Thermal Desktop or Siemens Simcenter.
• Experience with Siemens NX.
• Hands-on data acquisition instrumentation experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; design reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Own thermal design and integration for orbital structures from concept to on-orbit operations.
• Write and maintain architectures, requirements, and development roadmaps.
• Perform component selection and coarse to detailed thermal analysis.
• Manage thermal interface requirements for internal teams and external customers.
• Supervise manufacturing of thermal hardware.
• Design and support test and qualification campaigns including thermal chamber testing.
• Present work at design reviews to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposals, funding opportunities, and research initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively develop team capabilities.
