Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Senior Thermal Engineer to join a space-focused team, working on the thermal health and performance of spacecraft on orbit.

You will lead thermal support for on-orbit operations, perform modelling with Thermal Desktop, and collaborate with Flight Operations, Software and Systems teams to improve monitoring and responses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of spacecraft thermal engineering experience.
• Strong thermal modelling and analysis background.
• Experience with Thermal Desktop or similar tools.
• Understanding of spacecraft thermal hardware, testing and operations.
• Ability to independently investigate and solve complex thermal problems.
• Exposure to Python, MATLAB or similar would be beneficial.
• Experience supporting flight hardware or on-orbit spacecraft is highly desirable.

I’m partnering with a rapidly growing space organization developing and operating a cutting‑edge space-based communications constellation, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Thermal Engineer to join the team.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for a thermal engineer who wants to go beyond traditional design and analysis and work directly with spacecraft operating on orbit.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the thermal health and performance of spacecraft throughout their operational life, working closely with Flight Operations, Software, Systems and Thermal Engineering teams.
