Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking a Controls Test and Integration Engineer for our Thermal Control Software Development team. You will lead test coverage across SIL, HIL, and vehicles, and work with firmware and systems engineers to diagnose and resolve issues in thermal management systems including HVAC, refrigeration, and coolant controls.

The role requires strong C/C++/Rust/Python skills, a BS in engineering, and 5+ years in automotive or aerospace control systems.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering.
• 5+ years in control systems for automotive or aerospace.
• Experience with embedded software testing and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Lead test coverage development for SIL, HIL, and vehicle assets.
• Design/test cases for SIL, HIL, unit, and vehicle levels.
• Collaborate with firmware and systems engineers to diagnose issues.
