Pow.bio is seeking a driven Senior Thermal Engineer to design, develop, and implement simulations for the Kaleidos microreactor. You will tackle cutting-edge problems, ensuring the reliability and safety of high-temperature gas reactor systems.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics and 5+ years of industry experience, specifically with CFD modeling tools. This on-site role is based in El Segundo, CA, and offers a competitive compensation package including equity and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience communicating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with STAR-CCM+, Ansys Fluent, or other commercial CFD code.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute thermal CFD analysis for reactor systems.
• Develop solutions for turbulent flow and heat transfer modeling.
• Implement CFD simulation best practices.
