Job summary

The Connection Inc. seeks a Lead Therapist for the CTPSB (Forensic Program) in the Hartford, Bristol, New Britain & Torrington region.

The role focuses on delivering outpatient treatment and coordinating with CTPSB staff to support clients with a history of problematic sexual behavior. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in counseling or social work, is licensure-eligible (LMSW/LPCA/MFTA+), and has at least two years of related experience, plus a valid CT driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work is required.
• Must be eligible for licensure as LMSW, LPCA, MFTA or higher.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in social work or behavioral health.
• Valid Connecticut driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient treatment for individuals with a history of problem sexual behavior.
• Serve as a liaison between supervising offices and the CTPSB program staff.
• Collaborate with CTPSB therapists to rehabilitate and educate clients in the community.
• Maintain regular attendance and participate in program orientation as required.
