Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Radiologic Technologist/Therapist (TRT) to join the treatment team. Certification in therapeutic radiologic technology and ARRT in Radiation Therapy is required, with at least one year of related experience.

Responsibilities include performing CT simulations, operating linear accelerators with on-board imaging, and ensuring QA and radiation safety. On-call treatments and equipment maintenance may be required.

Qualifications

• Certification in ARRT (T) in Radiation Therapy.
• Educational program in therapeutic radiologic technology (certificate/associate’ s or higher).
• U.S. citizenship requirement met per VA eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT simulations and assist in treatment planning.
• Operate Linac with On-Board Imaging and QA procedures.
• Maintain treatment rooms and equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Provide emergency on-call treatments as assigned.
