Role Overview

The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) plays a critical role in executing BMS's customer engagement model to promote adoption of medicines for appropriate patients. The TAS builds credibility with healthcare providers (HCPs), delivers scientific dialogue, and collaborates cross-functionally to enhance customer experience. This field-based role requires 100% external customer engagement.

Responsibilities
  1. Portfolio Promotion: Promote BMS products within the territory, create demand, maintain scientific expertise, and implement territory plans.
  2. Scientific Dialogue: Conduct in-office presentations, organize speaker programs, stay current with emerging data, and utilize medical support effectively.
  3. Collaboration: Work with other field teams, share insights, and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
Qualifications
  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharma/biotech experience in healthcare sales, MSL, or related roles.
  • Experience in Immunology and building credibility with key customers.
  • Strong account management, selling skills, and team collaboration.

Additional Details

Starting salary ranges from $145,000 to $165,000 plus incentives. The role involves on-site presence as per the company's occupancy structure.
